Our mission here at The Martin Law group is: “Rebuilding Justice, One Case at a Time.” Day in and day out, we face justice and injustice alongside our clients. We strive for justice, and when injustice knocks on our door, it is our duty to take that injustice and rebuild it to find the justice within. And since we spend every day working for your justice, it’s important that we all understand exactly what justice is and how it impacts our lives.
The first thing we do is turn to our trusted Merriam Webster Dictionary and find that justice has three different definitions with multiple sub-meanings within. Here’s the brief version:
- The maintenance or administration of what is just, especially by the impartial adjustment of conflicting claims or the assignment of merited rewards or punishments
- The quality of being just, impartial, or fair
- Conformity to truth, fact, or reason
Now we see that the first two definitions use language rules to quickly define justice using “just” whereas the third definition states it simply: “Conformity to truth, fact, or reason.” It is within this third definition that we find our purpose. We strive to find the truth, fact, and reason within all of our cases.
Many times new clients come to us with a rejected benefit claim, searching for someone to help them receive the benefits they deserve. The legal system is a vast one, and many times the system fails to give a benefit claim to those that are deserving because of simple errors or a poor application. Yet, when you team with The Martin Law Group to fight a rejected benefit claim, we use our drive for the truth to reason with the legal system using your facts to overturn the original statement. It’s our duty to seek justice for your benefit claim. The Martin Law Group is based in Tuscaloosa, AL, but we serve many surrounding towns including those in Mississippi.
